An ear ache which started during yesterday was sorted out by a dose of paracetamol but it came back with a vengeance in the night and I can honestly say its the worst night I have ever had!!!! After several visits to a shuttered up reception it finally opened at 6 and we were advised the doctor wouldn’t open until 9 – the longest 3 hours of my life. We walked into town and were first to see a really friendly doctor who took one look and said ‘bad piscine’ (I feel a letter to Crystal holidays coming on!) I got three lots of drugs – the best 45 euros I have ever spent. Mag has breakfast and a morning ski on her own :( I try and sleep in the room with a great view of the mountain! Mag returns and we have a picnic in the room of things pinched from the breakfast bar. I decide that as it is such a nice day it cant be wasted in the room so we just went up for a couple of hours and stuck to the runs by the hotel – watched a group of tiny kids in green jackets (age 5/6) whizzing down the half pipe!!! By now my ear was really playing up so back to the room for more drugs. I felt so awful poor Mag had to go to dinner on her own as well but brought me back a selection of cheeses and desserts :) I did have a slightly better night.
